Job summary

BVR People Consulting is seeking a production specialist in India to manage shifts, plan manpower, machines and materials for sheet metal stamping and press shop operations. You will troubleshoot tooling, monitor OEE, and drive TPM/5S/quality initiatives while coordinating with multiple teams.

The role requires hands-on experience in stamping, turret operations, and a strong focus on safety and documentation, with proficiency in SAP/Oracle and MS Excel for reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal stamping and press shop operations.
• Knowledge of production planning and shift handling processes.
• Familiarity with quality tools and continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift production and achieve daily/weekly targets.

• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, die, and process-related issues.

• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, Stores and Planning teams.
• Prepare Production vs Plan, MIS, stock, shortage and safety reports.
• Use SAP/Oracle and MS Excel for production reporting.

• Ensure shop-floor safety, discipline, and proper documentation.
• Use SAP/Oracle and MS Excel for production reporting.
