Job summary

Acumen 360 Consulting & HR Solutions is seeking a Tool Room/Press Tooling Specialist in India to execute loading plans, support operators during shifts, and ensure timely dispatch of finish tools to internal customers. The role involves planning, tool preparation, and coordination with maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 6-9 years of experience in tool die, with knowledge of press tools, drawing interpretation, and precision measurement. On-site work in a manufacturing environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in mechanical field with tooling focus.
• 6-9 years of relevant tool room experience.
• Knowledge of press tools and press machines.
• Familiar with measurement instruments and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Execute machine loading plan based on daily tool submission plan.
• Provide support to operators during shift duty.
• Plan and deliver press tools on time.
• Update planning sheets and production reports.
• Coordinate with maintenance during machine downtime.
• Monitor machine utilization and OEE.
• Maintain shop floor discipline and safety.

Job description

Job Purpose To execute machine loading plan on the basis of daily tool submission plan and provide support to
operators during shift duty thus tool room targets are achieved and the finish tools are dispatched to
the internal customer in timely manner

Primary Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Press Tools and Press Machine
• Knowledge of Tool Room machines, cutting tools and consumables
• Knowledge of Engineering Drawing, geometrical dimensions and tolerance method
• Checking availability of man, machine and material as per planning sheet
• Knowledge and use of different kinds of measuring instruments
• Plan and Delivery commitment of press tools
• Operating tool room process in shifts
• Define Tool Manufacturing process for press tool
• Update Daily planning sheet and check production report.
• Prepare material for heat treatment process.
• Bidirectional communication between lower and upper management.
• Manage man power in shift duty.
• Maintain overall discipline on shopflorr
• Proper machine utilization as per daily machine loading plan.
• Calculate machine OEE
• Intimate maintenance department during machine break down
• Monitoring machine break down data
• TPM activity.
• Action to prevent unnecessary consumption of power and air.
• Note down rework and rejection and make why analysis.
