Job summary

Reliable Hubs Engineering in Mumbai is seeking a Production/Operations Supervisor to plan and monitor daily manufacturing activities for sheet metal processes. You will ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly targets, allocate resources, read drawings and BOMs, monitor efficiency, and drive continuous improvement while enforcing safety and quality standards.

Collaborating with maintenance and production teams, you will guide operators and document shift reports, downtime, and wastage

Qualifications

• Preferred candidate from Sheet Metal Industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily production activities as per production schedules and customer requirements.
• Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Supervise sheet metal manufacturing processes such as: Laser cutting/CNC cutting, CNC punching, Press brake bending, Welding and fabrication, Assembly.
• Allocate manpower, machines, tools, and materials according to production requirements.
• Monitor machine utilization, production efficiency, rejection, rework, and downtime.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and process sheets.
• Ensure correct process parameters, tooling, and sequence are followed.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Reduce scrap, rejection, rework, and material wastage.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, downtime reports, and other required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Train and guide operators on proper processes, quality requirements, and safe working practices.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive maintenance and breakdown-related issues.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability of raw materials and finished components.
• Support new product development, process trials, and process improvements.
