Job summary

Durucooperation in India is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of production machinery and factory electrical systems. The role emphasizes preventive and breakdown maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical safety.

You will maintain electrical panels, DG generators, motors, drives, and lighting, keep logs, and follow LOTO procedures to minimize downtime in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BE/Diploma/ITI in Electrical required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on electrical machine maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of PLC, VFD, HMI, sensors, control circuits and electrical panels.
• Familiar with electrical safety standards and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical panels, motors, drives, sensors, switches, control circuits and safety devices.
• Diagnose and rectify PLC, VFD, HMI, relay, contactor, timer and sensor faults.
• Maintain PLC backup programs and electrical documentation; coordinate with machine manufacturers as needed.
• Operate and maintain DG generators, air compressors, distribution panels, power systems and factory lighting.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and keep accurate maintenance logs.
• Maintain factory wiring, MCC/DB panels, lighting, sockets and power distribution.
• Install new electrical equipment and machine connections with safety compliance.
• Identify critical spare parts, manage stock levels, raise requisitions.
• Follow LOTO procedures, participate in safety audits and maintain housekeeping.
• Prepare breakdown reports and daily maintenance records.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines and minimize downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical panels, motors, drives, sensors, switches, control circuits, and safety devices.
• Diagnose and rectify PLC, VFD, HMI, relay, contactor, timer, and sensor-related faults.
• Maintain PLC backup programs and electrical documentation; coordinate with machine manufacturers when required.
• Operate and maintain DG generators, air compressors, distribution panels, power systems, factory lighting, and earthing systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
• Maintain factory wiring, MCC/DB panels, lighting, sockets, and power distribution systems.
• Install new electrical equipment and machine connections while ensuring electrical safety compliance.
• Identify critical spare parts, maintain minimum stock levels, and raise material requisitions.
• Follow LOTO procedures, participate in safety audits, and maintain electrical maintenance housekeeping.
• Prepare breakdown reports, daily maintenance reports, machine history cards, and preventive maintenance records.

Mandatory Requirements

• Education: BE / Diploma / ITI – Electrical.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Strong hands-on experience in electrical machine maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.
• Practical knowledge of PLC, VFD, HMI, sensors, control circuits, and electrical panels.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical distribution and utility equipment.
• Understanding of electrical safety standards and LOTO procedures.
• Ability to respond quickly to breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
