Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician in Surat to service heavy-duty CNC machines and CNC systems from FANUC, Siemens, and Mitsubishi. The role covers breakdown and preventive maintenance, along with SAP/ERP-driven material requisition and purchase processes.

The position requires shift work, at-height tasks for crane maintenance, and strong adherence to ISO/OHSAS/EMS standards. Experience with electrical testing tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance of heavy-duty CNC machines (HBM, Juaristi), and various VTL/VTC setups.
• Hands-on maintenance of FANUC, Siemens, and Mitsubishi CNC systems.
• Breakdown and preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• SAP/ERP knowledge for material requisition and purchase indent.

Responsibilities

• Perform breakdown & preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Maintain SAP/ERP records for material requisition and purchase indent.
• Maintain material handling equipment (EOT crane, wall travelling crane, transfer trolley, forklift, stackers).
• Maintain utilities equipment like compressors, pneumatic and electrical grinders, welding machines.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, OHSAS, EMS, Kaizen, TPM, and 5S practices.
• Work in shift and at heights for crane maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment such as meters and testers.

Job description

• Hands-on experience in the maintenance of heavy-duty CNC machines such as Juaristi (HBM), HNK (VTL & VTC), Goratu TMC & HTL, radial drills, VMCs, and universal drilling machines.
• Hands-on experience in the maintenance of FANUC, Siemens, and Mitsubishi CNC systems.
• Breakdown & Preventive Maintenance as per schedule.
• SAP / ERP knowledge for material requisition and purchase indent.
• Maintenance of material handling equipment like EOT & Wall travelling cranes, Transfer trolley, forklift, stackers etc. & Genie and Snorkel make man lifter & scissor lifters
• Maintenance of Utilities equipment like compressor, pneumatic and electrical grinders, welding machines etc.
• Good working Knowledge of ISO, OHSAS, EMS and best industry practices like Kaizen, TPM, 5S.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment such as multimeters, clamp meters, earth testers, and megger testers.
• Working in shift duty and work at height for maintenance of EOT and Wall mounted cranes.
• AC and SC drive knowledge.
