Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of heavy machinery and electrical systems. You will adhere to safety norms, inspect equipment, and plan preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.

The role requires BE qualification and experience with cranes and material handling equipment, plus strong documentation and communication skills to support maintenance activities across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• BE with electrical background and clean safety record.
• Experience maintaining heavy machines and cranes.
• Ability to document maintenance and repairs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations during tasks.
• Maintain heavy machines such as milling/boring equipment and VTL/VTC.
• Oversee electrical system maintenance for optimal performance.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate with engineers for complex maintenance tasks.
• Order parts and equipment needed for maintenance.
• Document all maintenance and repairs for future reference.
• Inspect machinery for defects and malfunctions.

Job Description

1. 1.Adhering to all safety and environmental regulations when conducting maintenance tasks
2. 2.Proven work experience as Electrical maintenance in heavy machines like HBM. Gantry type milling and boring machine, VTL, VTC machine , like make PAMA, Skoda, Waco , HNK etc..
3. 3.Knowledge in EOT cranes and Material Handling Equipment maintenance
4. 4.Documenting all maintenance and repair work for future reference
5. 5.Overseeing the maintenance of Electrical systems to ensure optimal performance & Inspecting machinery and equipment to identify any defects or malfunctions
6. 6.Planning and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance & Recommending modifications to improve equipment performance
7. 7.Working closely with other engineering professionals in the planning and execution of complex maintenance tasks
8. 8.Ordering replacement parts and equipment necessary for maintenance
9. 9.Good communication and interpersonal skills.
