Job summary

Macpower is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (CNC/VMC) to oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability of CNC, VMC, HMC, and SPM machines. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, ensuring safety, and maintaining critical electrical systems.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics & Electrical Engineering with 5–10 years of CNC/VMC maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of CNC/VMC electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing or machine tool sectors.
• Experience troubleshooting Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Syntec CNC controls, PLCs, drives and electrical panels.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance as per schedule.
• Attend machine breakdowns and restore production quickly.
• Troubleshoot CNC controls and PLCs, drives, servo motors, spindle motors, VFDs, sensors, encoders and electrical panels.
• Maintain MCC panels, transformers, wiring, earthing and control circuits.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machines.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs and breakdown analysis reports.
• Follow safety procedures and TPM practices; pursue Kaizen improvements.

Job Summary

Responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and reliability of CNC, VMC, HMC, and SPM machines while minimizing downtime and ensuring safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance as per schedule.
• Attend machine breakdowns and restore production quickly.
• Troubleshoot CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Syntec), PLCs, drives, servo motors, spindle motors, VFDs, sensors, encoders, and electrical panels.
• Maintain MCC panels, transformers, wiring, earthing, and control circuits.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machines.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and raise purchase requisitions.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs, and breakdown analysis reports.
• Follow LOTO, electrical safety, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen practices.
• Recommend improvements to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
