Job summary

IS Projects is seeking an Electrical Billing & QS Engineer to support residential and commercial electrical projects with emphasis on quantity surveying, client billing, estimation, and cost control. The role involves handling BOQs, RA & Final Bills, vendor quotations, and cost tracking across multiple ongoing projects with reputed builders.

The ideal candidate will read electrical drawings, prepare MRAs, and coordinate with site teams and billing groups.

Qualifications

• Experience in quantity surveying and client billing.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and SLDs.
• Strong skills in rate analysis and material estimation.
• Proficient in MS Excel (Advanced) and AutoCAD.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs and quantity take-offs from electrical drawings.
• Prepare and submit RA Bills, Final Bills, and Variation/Extra Item Claims.
• Verify quantities executed at site and reconcile with BOQ.
• Prepare material reconciliation statements.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, and Client Billing Teams.
• Assist in tender estimation and cost analysis.
• Obtain quotations from vendors and prepare comparative statements.
• Monitor project costs and identify billing opportunities.
• Maintain project billing records, quantity tracker and MIS report.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Billing & QS Engineer to support our residential and commercial electrical projects. The candidate should have experience in quantity surveying, client billing, estimation, and project cost control.

We execute projects for reputed developers such as My Home, Godrej Properties, Honer Homes, and other leading builders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs and quantity take-offs from electrical drawings.
• Prepare and submit RA Bills, Final Bills, and Variation/Extra Item Claims.
• Verify quantities executed at site and reconcile with BOQ.
• Prepare material reconciliation statements.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, and Client Billing Teams.
• Assist in tender estimation and cost analysis.
• Obtain quotations from vendors and prepare comparative statements.
• Monitor project costs and identify billing opportunities.
• Maintain project billing records, quantity tracker and MIS report ?

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Electrical BOQs and Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in Client Billing and Project Documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced) and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read Electrical Drawings and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
• Good understanding of rate analysis and material estimation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

• Residential High-rise Projects.
• Experience working with reputed builders or large electrical contractors.
• Exposure to multiple running projects simultaneously.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.

Salary Details:

4.2 7.2 Lakhs per annum (CTC)

Final compensation will depend on:

• Relevant experience
• Technical knowledge
• Billing and QS expertise
• Performance in the technical interview
• Previous project exposure

Note: Candidates with exceptional experience in billing, quantity surveying, estimation, and handling reputed builder projects may be offered higher compensation based on overall suitability.
