Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. E-Commerce & Quick-Commerce Operations

Oversee operations across platforms such as Amazon, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket and other relevant platforms.

Ensure the team tracks and processes purchase orders received from marketplace and quick-commerce partners within agreed timelines.

2. Inventory & Depot Coordination

• Ensure adequate SKU-wise inventory is maintained across relevant depots and fulfilment locations.
• Review stock availability, stock-outs, ageing and near-expiry inventory on a regular basis.

Ensure timely replenishment based on sales trends, forecasts, marketplace requirements

3. Marketplace & D2C Business Management

• Oversee assortment, product listings, pricing, promotions, availability and content across marketplaces and the company website. Ensure the team maintains accurate and optimized product titles, images, descriptions and specifications.

4. Digital Marketing & Agency Management

• Lead coordination with the digital marketing and marketplace advertising agency.
• Review and approve campaign plans across marketplaces, Google and Meta.
• Monitor advertising performance including spend, ROAS, CTR, conversion & sales.

5. Business Planning & Performance Management

• Own digital channel performance across E-Commerce, Quick-Commerce and D2C.
• Track KPIs including sales, growth, stock availability, fill rate, fulfilment, returns, advertising efficiency and profitability.

6. Team Leadership & Execution Management

• Lead and manage the team responsible for e-commerce, quick-commerce & website operations.
• Review daily and weekly execution across orders, inventory, listings, customer issues, marketplace operations and reporting.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Any Graduate or Post graduate in marketing, sales or relevant field.
• Experience in FMCG, Food, Consumer Products or Retail preferred.
• Strong understanding of platforms such as Amazon, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket and D2C websites.
• Experience in marketing, inventory planning, marketplace operations, PO fulfilment and commercial coordination.
• Understanding of marketplace advertising, Google Ads and Meta advertising and experience managing external agencies.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with good proficiency in Excel.
