Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Domain Lead for AI-enabled Invoice to Cash, based in India, hybrid work model. Lead global I2C strategy, optimize DSO, aging, and cash forecasting with automation and analytics.

You’ll drive cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Sales, Legal, IT, and Operations, ensuring SOX compliance and strong risk controls while enhancing customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance is required.
• Extensive experience in AR, billing, collections, and cash applications.

Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the global Invoice to Cash strategy aligned with organizational and financial objectives. Lead transformation and digitization initiatives to enhance process efficiency, automation, and customer experience. Set strategic KPIs and performance benchmarks (e.g., DSO, bad debt, cash conversion cycle) and drive continuous improvement. 2. End-to-End Process Oversight Billing & Invoicing: Ensure accurate and timely billing processes across regions and business units. Credit Management: Define credit policies, manage credit risk exposure, and oversee customer credit assessments and approvals. Collections: Drive proactive collection strategies to reduce DSO and improve aging performance. Cash Application: Oversee timely and accurate application of incoming payments to customer accounts. Dispute & Deductions Management: Lead resolution of invoice disputes and deductions in coordination with sales, customer service, and legal. 3. Technology & Automation Champion adoption and optimization of I2C tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, HighRadius, BlackLine). Implement AI, RPA, and analytics solutions to reduce manual work and enhance cash forecasting. Ensure integration of systems with upstream/downstream processes (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay). 4. Team Leadership & Talent Development Lead a global I2C organization with regional leads, managers, and specialists. Create a culture of performance, accountability, and customer-centricity. Identify skill gaps and invest in team development and succession planning. 5. Risk & Compliance Management Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and global financial regulations. Monitor and mitigate risks related to credit, write-offs, fraud, and financial reporting errors. Partner with internal audit and compliance teams for regular reviews. 6. Stakeholder Engagement Act as a key partner to Finance, Sales, Legal, and Operations leaders to align on revenue recognition, dispute resolution, and credit policies. Work with Treasury and FP&A to forecast cash inflows and manage working capital efficiently. Collaborate with IT and transformation teams on system enhancements and automation projects. 7. Reporting & Insights Deliver accurate and timely reporting on cash collections, DSO, aged receivables, and bad debt provisions. Use data analytics to identify trends, improve decision-making, and drive business insights. 8. Customer Relationship Management Ensure a seamless, professional experience for customers in all billing and collection interactions.
