Job summary

DMart is seeking a Jr. Manager/Sr. Officer - Compliance to manage statutory registrations and adherence to Labour Acts across stores in Pune and Nashik. The role requires ready travel within the region and 4–8 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities include handling PF/ESI/PT, liaising with government authorities, and ensuring timely submissions and audits. The candidate should be proficient in compliance processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in compliance or statutory matters.
• Experience with Labour Acts and statutory registrations.
• Willing to travel within the region (Pune/Nashik).
• Good documentation and record-keeping for returns and audits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance under Contract Labour Act for contractors.
• Handle statutory registrations and liaison with government authorities (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Shop/Establishment, etc.).
• Identify applicability of rules and regulations and ensure timely filings.
• Prepare and submit payroll-related contributions and challans correctly.
• Coordinate license renewals for stores and maintain compliance records.
• Assist stores with inspections and respond to audit queries.

Job title: Jr. Manager/ Sr. Officer - Compliance

Experience: 4- 8 yrs

Location: Pune, Nashik (Should be ready for travelling within the region)

Age - 32 years (Max)

Role & responsibilities

• Adherence to compliance under Contract Labour Act for all contractors.
• Will be responsible for Statutory Registrations & Liasioning with government authorities for Provident Fund, Employees State Insurance Corporation, and Professional Tax, LWF, Contract Labour Act etc.
• Adherence and Identification of applicability of statutory rules & regulation.
• Calculation and Preparation of error free PF /ESI/PT/ Challans in standard format as per the slabs and ensure timely submission.
• Handling remittance formalities with the bank within the time-frame.
• Working on Collection, Transfer, Withdrawal, verification & Submission of forms and maintaining the database for the same. ( Challans & Returns)
• Handling Employee Queries related to PF,ESIC
• Preparation and submission of all returns under labour laws (Employment Exchange, Shop & Establishment Act, Payment of Wages, Minimum Wage Act etc.)
• Conduct monthly compliance audit at respective store to ensure all statutory related registers & records are maintenance, display of abstract and notices at stores
• Ensure 100% audit queries are resolved timely as per the statutory requirements (Source N+1 audit report)
• Co-ordinate with respective stakeholder and obtain license for new stores and renewal the licenses within the stipulated time under Shop Act, RC, 365 days, Contract Labour etc Source tracker.
• Visit & co-ordinate with store HR during inspection by Government authorities and send report of the same to CHRM/Corp HR
