JSW Steel is seeking a Dispatch Executive for Logistics and Supply Chain at its Tarapur site. The role focuses on ensuring timely dispatches, monitoring DO availability, and aligning shipments with market priorities and contracts.

You will work within a large manufacturing setup, coordinating with transporters, handling penalties, and expanding domestic container dispatches. You will also develop reports through the SAP system, maintain ISO documentation, and support billing processes with GBS.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma / B.Sc / B.Com with 3-8 yrs. of experience in large manufacturing industry.

• Dispatch materials per market priority and financial arrangement.
• Impose penalties on transporters as per contract terms.
• Open new dispatch stations when trucks are not placed from open market.

Dispatch Executive - Logistics Supply Chain:

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)

• 1) Availability and monitoring of available DO to achieve ABP.
• 2) Material should be dispatched as per mkt priority, financial arrangement.
• 3) To impose penalty on transporters as per Terms and Condition of Contract.
• 4) To open the station where truck is not placed from Open market.
• 5) To maximize dispatches through containers in domestic market.
• 6) To conduct reverse auction as and when required.

Critical Tasks

• 1. Achievement of Dispatch target as per Annual Business Plan.
• 2. Vehicle placement within 48 hrs of issuing shipment.
• 3. Transit report form each Transporter.
• 4. Develop new reports through SAP system.
• 5. Submission of bills from Logistics to GBS within 6 days of receipt of bills.
• 6. ISO Documentation.

Decision making authority (Decisions expected)

• Disciplinary actions against incidents with wrong shipment person,
• Training interventions in sync with subordinates.
