Job summary

Jio in India invites applications for the role Digital Repair Specialist. You will shortlist, onboard, certify, and evaluate partner technicians to meet SOPs while ensuring availability and upgrades are managed efficiently.

The role requires hands-on training, KPI tracking, fault resolution, and audits of devices and inventories. Travel to touchpoints as needed and strong communication skills are essential to deliver customer satisfaction in a dynamic telecom environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in ECE/Telecommunication/IT/CS or equivalent.
• 1.5–4 years of relevant experience in repair/field service.
• Willingness to travel to touchpoints as required.
• Strong customer focus and communication abilities.
• Ability to supervise partners/technicians and evaluate performance.

Responsibilities

• Shortlist, onboard, certify, and evaluate partners/technicians performance as per SOPs.
• Ensure availability and manage upgrades or terminations.
• Conduct initial training, reskilling, upskilling, and periodic refresher programs.
• Deliver hands-on field training through OJTs.
• Track KPIs and performance metrics of partners and technicians.
• Take corrective actions based on evaluation outcomes.
• Guide and support issue resolution within TAT to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct audits, inventory reconciliation and FTTx device inspections.
• Handle walk-in customer interactions, device repairs/swaps, CRM entries, and software upgrades.
• Train and support extended service points.
• Travel to touchpoints as per requirement.
• Participate in special initiatives like complaint handling, out-calling, and coaching Jio Associates.
