Responsibilities

• Source and purchase diamonds based on sales, production, and inventory needs.
• Evaluate diamonds on shape, carat, colour, clarity, cut, and other factors.
• Verify certificates (GIA/IGI/HRD) and negotiate prices and terms.
• Own diamond inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and stock control.
• Monitor stock ageing and establish replenishment levels.
• Prepare inventory forecasts and coordinate with internal teams.
• Maintain daily stock, purchase, ageing, and variance reports; build MIS dashboards.
• Use Advanced Excel and ERP systems for procurement and analytics.

Role & Responsibilities

• Source and purchase diamonds based on sales, production, and inventory requirements
• Evaluate diamonds on shape, carat, colour, clarity, cut, polish, symmetry, fluorescence and proportions
• Verify GIA, IGI, HRD and other certificates; negotiate prices, credit terms, and delivery timelines
• Take end-to-end ownership of diamond inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and stock control
• Monitor stock ageing, slow/non-moving inventory, and establish replenishment levels
• Prepare inventory forecasts and coordinate with Sales, Production, QC, Finance and Logistics
• Maintain daily stock, purchase, ageing, and variance reports; build management MIS/dashboards
• Use Advanced Excel and ERP systems for procurement and inventory analytics

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of experience in diamond buying, trading, jewellery manufacturing, or inventory management
• Strong practical knowledge of diamond grading, assortments, and pricing
• Established supplier/manufacturer network preferred
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills
• High integrity and ability to handle high-value inventory with confidentiality
