Job summary

Tibarumals Jewellers is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage jewellery stock, records, and tagging at our Hyderabad store. The role involves handling high-value items, coordinating with sales and production teams, and maintaining precise inventory data.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, knowledge of jewellery, and experience with inventory systems and POS platforms. This is a full-time, on-site position in India’s jewellery retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain precise records of jewellery items including metal, gemstones, weight and price.
• Track and manage stock movements from receiving to display, sales and returns.
• Receive new merchandise, inspect quality, verify against orders and tag items accurately.
• Conduct regular physical counts and audits to reconcile inventory with system records.
• Enter and update inventory information into the inventory management system.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols for high-value jewellery items.
• Liaise with sales, floor managers, and production teams regarding stock levels and client transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management:Maintain precise records of all jewellery items, including details like metal type, gemstones, weight, and price.
• Stock Movement:Track and manage the physical movement of all jewellery within the store, from receiving to display, sales, and returns.
• Receiving & Tagging:Receive new merchandise, inspect it for quality and damage, verify against orders, and accurately tag items.
• Audits & Reconciliation:Conduct regular physical counts and audits to reconcile actual inventory with system records, identifying and reporting discrepancies.
• System Updates:Accurately enter and update all relevant inventory information into the company's inventory management system.
• Security & Safety:Adhere to strict safety and security protocols for handling and storing high-value jewellery items.
• Team Collaboration:Liaise with sales teams, floor managers, and production teams regarding stock levels, orders, and client transactions.
