Job summary

Titan Company Limited in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand seeks a Head of Diamond & Gemstones Sorting to lead the sorting department, ensure smooth operations, and uphold QA standards across Tanishq, ZOYA, MIA and IBD.

You will oversee inventory of solitaire and colored stones, coordinate with central planning and stone sourcing to meet the production plan, and drive training for internal teams on gemstone handling and new shapes for bespoke luxury lines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering / Science / Diploma

Responsibilities

• Heading Diamond & Gemstones sorting department.
• Responsible for the Overall Operations of the department.
• Deploying, Monitoring & Sustenance of Quality Assurance standards of Tanishq, ZOYA, MIA & IBD.
• Managing the Inventory of Solitaire, Small Diamonds & Colour stones as per Business need.
• Coordination with Central Planning, Stone Sourcing teams to manage the Diamond & Gemstones to fulfil the Production Plan
• Ensure Material Governance as per Policy and periodic Physical Verification as per defined Schedule
• Upgradation, Training & Competency Building on Gemstones for Internal Team members (Sorting, Bagging, Colour Lustre Matching, Diamond Cutting & Shaping) and other Teams in factory (Production, NPD & Quality)
• Work closely with Diamond and Gemstone teams to develop new shape / cut for Bespoke / Luxury brands of Titan
• Managing the Team of skilled Diamond Sorters and delivering the Business need

Work Experience

Degree in Engineering / Science / Diploma

• 810Years of technical experience in Diamond Industry
• Relevant Experience needed in Solitaire and Small Diamonds
• Experience in Color Stone would be an added advantage
• Teaching / Training experience would be an added advantage
