Job summary

TDF - The Diamond Factory is seeking an experienced Merchandiser to manage stock planning, product coordination, and collection analysis for gold and uncut jewellery. You will collaborate with design, sourcing, and marketing teams to optimize stock levels and drive product performance.

Ideal candidates have strong analytical and reporting skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and are comfortable coordinating across store visits, exhibitions, and campaigns to support growth and brand excellence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain stock reports (Ideal Stock vs Budgeted Stock).
• Monitor stock movement and ensure optimal stock availability.
• Plan and manage stock replenishment for jewellery.
• Coordinate with marketing for product launches, campaigns and exhibitions.
• Visit stores and exhibitions to study trends and performance.
• Analyze sales, stock aging and product performance; share insights.

Job Summary

TDF - The Diamond Factory is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandiser to manage stock planning, product coordination, and collection analysis for gold and uncut jewellery. The role involves close coordination with the design, sourcing, and marketing teams to ensure ideal stock levels, strong product performance, and timely replenishment.

Key Responsibilities

Stock & Inventory Management

• Prepare and maintain Ideal Stock vs Budgeted Stock reports
• Monitor stock movement and ensure optimal stock availability
• Plan and manage stock replenishment for jewellery
• Coordinate purchase requirements based on sales trends and inventory levels

Product & Collection Management

• Review existing products and identify gaps or improvement areas
• Prepare reports for jewellery
• Create collection-wise and concept-wise performance reports
• Identify Top Sale collection-wise
• Support new product development based on market trends and feedback

Coordination & Sourcing

• Coordinate with the marketing team for product launches, campaigns, and exhibitions
• Support sourcing activities for gold and uncut jewellery
• Align merchandising plans with business and marketing strategies

Store & Exhibition Visits

• Conduct regular store visits to understand product performance and display
• Visit exhibitions and trade shows to study trends, competitor products, and customer preferences
• Share visit insights and reports with internal teams

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare periodic merchandising reports for management
• Analyze sales, stock aging, and product performance
• Provide actionable insights for improving sales and inventory turnover

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising (gold/diamond/uncut jewellery)
• Strong understanding of jewellery collections, concepts, and design trends
• Good analytical and reporting skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Willingness to travel for store and exhibition visits

Preferred Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in jewellery merchandising
• Experience working with diamonds, gold, or uncut jewellery brands
