Job summary

KGK Group in Surat is seeking an Inventory Manager with 5+ years of experience in diamond inventory control. The role focuses on group-wide inventory management, MIS reporting, and procurement coordination across departments.

You will ensure accurate records, manage rough rates, and verify transactional entries to support financial integrity. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, and the ability to generate actionable insights for management.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of diamond inventory management and control processes.
• Proficient in MIS reporting and advanced Excel usage.
• Experience with rough diamond procurement and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee group-wide and team-wise inventory management and allocation.
• Prepare management MIS reports including Inventory Value, TR & GIT, Intake MIS, profitability MIS.
• Maintain and update rough diamond rates and ensure consistency across records.
• Verify Import, Export, Transfer, Sales and Purchase entries and reconcile transactions.
• Manage the rough procurement system and coordinate with related departments.
• Maintain sight-wise inventory details and generate management reports.
• Coordinate with Article Head for inventory planning and corrective actions.
• Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with relevant teams for KYC requirements and documentation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

1. Group-wise & Team-wise Inventory Management
   • Monitor and maintain inventory on a group-wise and team-wise basis.
   • Ensure accurate inventory records and proper allocation.
2. Management MIS & Reporting
   • Prepare and submit various management MIS reports, including:
     • Inventory Value Report
     • TR & GIT Report
     • Intake MIS
     • Profitability MIS
     • Other inventory-related management reports.
3. Rough Rate Management
   • Maintain and update rough diamond rates.
   • Ensure accuracy and consistency of rates across inventory records.
4. Transaction Verification
   • Verify Import, Export, Transfer, Sales, and Purchase entries.
   • Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
5. Rough Procurement System
   • Manage and monitor the rough diamond procurement system.
   • Coordinate with relevant departments for procurement-related activities.
6. Sight-wise Inventory Details
   • Maintain and monitor sight-wise inventory details.
   • Prepare sight-wise analysis and reports as required by management.
7. Profitability MIS
   • Prepare and analyze profitability-related MIS.
   • Provide relevant insights to management for decision-making.
8. Rough Creation
   • Coordinate and manage the rough creation process.
   • Ensure proper documentation and system entries.
9. Coordination with Article Head
   • Share inventory-related information, reports, and updates with the respective Article Head.
   • Coordinate for inventory planning and corrective actions.
10. Monthly Inventory Reconciliation
    • Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
11. KYC Coordination
    • Coordinate with relevant teams for KYC-related requirements.
    • Ensure timely completion and availability of required documentation.
