Job summary

Abil Group in Pune is seeking a seasoned DGM (MEP - Execution) with BE Electrical and 15-20 years of project leadership.

You will lead planning and execution of Electrical LV/HV, substations, DG sets, ELV systems for high-rise towers and commercial projects, coordinate with MEP consultants and internal teams, ensure quality, cost control and timely completion, including meeting the requirement to execute 1 or 2 start-to-end high rise towers above 40 floors.

Qualifications

• BE (Electrical) degree is required.
• 15–20 years of experience in MEP project execution.
• Must have executed 1 or 2 start-to-end high-rise towers above 40 floors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Electrical LV/HV, Substation, DG, power distribution, and ELV systems.
• Coordinate with MEP consultants and internal teams to review GFC and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with Civil, HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting teams for seamless delivery.
• Coordinate with external consultants, architects, contractors, and suppliers for timely completion.
• Develop project baseline and monitor cost, resources, time overruns, workmanship, and wastage.
• Submit inspection requests and RFIs; ensure compliance with specs.
• Support procurement and contract teams in package finalization.
• Define and implement work method statements and detailed sequencing.
• Testing and commissioning of Electrical Equipment.

Job Description

• Good exposure in planning and execution of Electrical Services LV, HV, Substation, Power Distribution, DG set, Energy Power Cabling, Wiring, ELV System – FA, PA, CCTV, BMS, Data Wi-Fi, Access Control System, Vertical Transport System etc.
• Strong in design co-ordination with MEP Consultants, review and cross-check before giving GFC & Shop Drawings to execution team
• Strong co-ordination skills with internal Civil, HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting team.
• Co-ordination with external Consultants, Architects, Contractors, Suppliers for seamless operation and timely completion of the project
• Develop project baseline while monitoring and controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-run, workmanship, wastage management
• Submission of inspection requests and RFIs to Consultants, inspection co-ordination to maintain workflow efficiency and compliance with project specifications
• Value Engineering and cost control measures
• Inputs to procurement & contract team for package finalisation
• Define and implement work method statements, detailed technical sequencing with proper overlapping
• Testing and commissioning of Electrical Equipment
• Must have executed 1 or 2 start-to-end high rise towers above 40 floors
