Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Head MEP Execution to lead and manage end-to-end MEP execution activities for large-scale building and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, coordination, quality, safety, testing & commissioning, and timely completion of all MEP works.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) works for large-scale projects.
• Plan and monitor execution of HVAC, Electrical, ELV, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Fire Protection and other building services.
• Develop MEP execution strategies, work plans and schedules in line with overall project timelines.
• Review and ensure execution as per approved GFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, shop drawings and method statements.
• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Architectural, Planning, Procurement, QA/QC and Safety teams for seamless project execution.
• Lead and manage MEP contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor manpower deployment, material availability, productivity and subcontractor performance.
• Review technical drawings, material submittals, technical specifications and resolve design/execution-related issues.
• Ensure proper coordination and clash-free integration of MEP services with structural and architectural works.
• Monitor project progress against milestones and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety requirements, statutory regulations and project specifications.
• Lead inspection, testing and commissioning of MEP systems and ensure timely handover.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, snagging and closure of defects.
• Review and monitor MEP budgets, material consumption, cost control and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for technical approvals, inspections and project requirements.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
• Ensure proper documentation including testing & commissioning reports, as-built drawings, O&M manuals and handover documentation.
• Identify project risks, technical challenges and bottlenecks and provide effective solutions.
• Lead, mentor and develop the MEP engineering and execution team.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a reputed institution.
• 20+ years of overall experience in MEP execution.
• Strong experience in large-scale building, commercial, residential, high-rise or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in handling MEP execution at Head / Senior Leadership level.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, ELV, Fire Fighting, Plumbing and associated MEP services.
• Strong understanding of project planning, execution, quality, safety and testing & commissioning.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, communication and problem-solving skills.
