Job summary

SM2 Infotech in Navi Mumbai is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer L1 to provide onsite/floor end-user IT support. You will install and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops, configure Microsoft 365 and Outlook, and resolve printer and network issues in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication skills, ability to handle tickets, and willingness to work rotational shifts including nights; immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate or diploma in IT or related field preferred.
• Onsite/floor support experience and immediate or short-notice availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 desktop and floor support to end users.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops.
• Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 / Office 365 and Outlook/email.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer and peripheral issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Provide basic Video Conferencing setup and troubleshooting.
• Handle software installation, configuration and basic application issues.
• Maintain support tickets and update issue-resolution records.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/System/Network teams.
• Provide support in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
