Job Summary:
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer / EUC Engineer with 2 - 5 years of relevant experience to provide L1 technical support to end users. The candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills in Windows, Active Directory, Outlook, hardware, networking, printers, VPN and Microsoft 365/OneDrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L1 support for desktop, laptop, OS and application-related issues.
- Troubleshoot Windows, desktop slowness, hardware and software issues.
- Manage basic Active Directory activities including user accounts, password resets and access issues.
- Troubleshoot Domain, Workgroup and Group Policy (GPO) issues.
- Troubleshoot Outlook, email, PST/OST and Microsoft 365 issues.
- Support OneDrive synchronization and access-related issues.
- Troubleshoot Internet, LAN, DNS and DHCP connectivity issues.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting using IPConfig, Ping, NSLookup and Tracert.
- Install and troubleshoot printers, printer drivers and printing issues.
- Perform Windows OS installation, software installation and configuration.
- Install and troubleshoot VPN clients and VPN connectivity.
- Troubleshoot basic firewall and URL accessibility issues.
- Perform basic LAN cable troubleshooting, including crimping, punching and colour coding.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/network-related issues.
- Log and update incidents/service requests in the ITSM/ticketing tool.
- Follow SLA, escalation and ITIL-based support processes.
- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams.
