Job summary

Progressive Techserve in Mohali, India is seeking a Desktop Support specialist to provide IT assistance to local and remote users via phone, ticket system, email and chat.

Responsibilities include desktop-related technical support, coordination with engineers, OS and application troubleshooting, and ensuring user satisfaction. Strong knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP and hardware is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows desktop environments.
• Experience with Outlook configuration and repair.
• Familiarity with AD, DNS, and DHCP for user account and device management.
• Hardware support including printers and PC assembly/disassembly.
• Strong OS troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support (SPOC) including desktop-related assistance via phone, ticket system, emails, and instant chat.
• Coordinate with engineers and users.
• Provide desk-side support for local users and remote assistance for users.
• Monitor, track and respond to customer satisfaction survey responses.
• Handle Windows-related issues, Outlook support, AD, DNS, DHCP.
• Provide hardware support (printer, system assembly/disassembly).
• Troubleshoot OS, Outlook, and configurations.
• Maintain good communication and technical knowledge.
