Job summary

Geekay Infotech in Mumbai seeks a System Engineer L1 to handle desktop support, troubleshooting, and basic networking. Work location is Ghatkopar, Mumbai, with general shift timings.

The role covers troubleshooting desktops, printers, scanners; creating user profiles; maintaining desktops; coordinating with core team and vendors; ensuring SLA adherence.

Candidates with technical diploma or degree, basic networking knowledge, and ability to multitask are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, and related devices.
• Handle incidents and service requests with FCR in line with SLAs.
• Provide technical support and identify resolutions.
• Assemble computers and maintain peripherals and network devices.
• Create user profiles and configure desktop settings.
• Ensure desktop functionality across departments through regular maintenance.
• Plan and perform routine repairs and system upgrades.
• Log work in helpdesk system and update queries.
• Install applications like MS Office, MS Projects, and Outlook for access.
• Suggest process improvements.

Title: System Engineer L1

Work Location: Ghatkopar, Mumbai

Work Timings: General Shift

Responsibilities:

• Understanding of Ticket process & SLAs-Incidents/service requests & FCR.
• Responsible for troubleshooting of desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, etc. and facilitate in trouble shooting of server or network related issues in coordination of core team / principle vendors.
• Providing technical support, including identifying problem incidents with their subsequent resolutions.
• Assembling computers and Maintaining company peripheral desktop and network devices regularly, including printers and scanners.
• Creating Profiles to users for customizing desktop settings.
• Ensuring functionality of desktop systems throughout departments through frequent evaluations and routine maintenance.
• Planning and executing routine repairs and system upgrades.
• Making use of helpdesk systems to prioritize work-load and updating queries and calls.
• Installed and configured various applications Softwares Like MS Office 2000/XP, MS Projects and MS outlook for mails access and, Internet Explorer.
• Identify & suggest possible improvements on processes & procedures

Candidate Profile:

Qualification: Technical Graduate/Post graduate/HSC+Diploma

Requirements:

• Travelling allowance is provided when visit to client site for support in absence of fix site engineer.
• Basic networking knowledge.
