3i Infotech Limited in Changodar, Gujarat, seeks an Engineer-Desktop Support to manage desktop hardware/software for enterprise users and coordinate with vendors for escalations. The role requires 2+ years of experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include desktop installation/configuration, troubleshooting, and supporting VC systems used by banking clients, with IMAC changes and patch management as per client policies.

Competenze

• Total 2 years IT experience with desktop management.
• Ability to install and configure desktops per bank requirements.
• Experience with IMAC, patch and change management processes.
• Knowledge of VC systems installation and operation.
• Good communication skills and hardware troubleshooting.

Role: Desktop Support

YOE : 2+

Qualifications:

• Full time (Regular) graduation from a recognized university institute with minimum 1 year diploma course in Hardware & Networking

OR

Full time (Regular) Engineering graduate from a recognized institute;

OR

Full time (Regular)3 Years Diploma in Computer Engineering (10+12+ Diploma) from a recognized institute.

Experience:

• Total 2 years out of which minimum 1-year experience of managing Desktops in Enterprise Environment.
• Should be able to install and configure a desktop (PC or Laptop) as per banks requirements, diagnose and resolve the problem in coordination IIMC/ OEM/3rd party support vendors, support OS and OA (Office Automation) software used by bank, install s/w on clients, resolved network connectivity issues, perform any IMAC (Install, Move, Add or Change) on the desktop, initiate & maintain change management, Antivirus, patch and backup management as per process/ policy defined by the client.
• Should be able to connect the VC equipment at the locations.
• Should have good communication skills.
• Good knowledge on IT Hardware break fix, Printers.
• Video Conferencing FM:
• For VC FM at Mumbai, Total experience should be 3 years out of which 1 year should be in video conferencing operations.
• Should have good knowledge on installation, configuration and operating of VC systems, desktop clients.
• Should have experience in carrying out at least point to point conferences, changing of layout, testing connectivity etc.
• Good knowledge on network concepts and activities (Switches/Routers/Access points)
• Should have good communication skills.
