Job summary

ITC Infotech in India is seeking an IT support technician to manage Windows desktops and laptops, domain-joined user profiles, and standard applications such as MS Office, Outlook, Lotus Notes, antivirus, and CrowdStrike.

You will perform BaU app support, AD provisioning, mailbox management, group verification, and coordinate with ITSS and network teams. Also handle VC room setups and supervise LAN switches while coordinating with vendors for issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows desktop & laptop support in a domain environment.
• Proficiency in configuring user profiles and mailbox management.
• Knowledge of standard business software suites and security utilities.

Responsibilities

• 1. Build and support Windows desktops and laptops in domain environment.
• 2. Configure user profiles and domain-joined devices.
• 3. Install and support MS Office, MS Outlook, Lotus Notes, antivirus, CrowdStrike, and SAP client.
• 4. BaU application support for listed software.
• 5. Create, modify, delete and transfer AD accounts; coordinate with ITSS for mailbox management.
• 6. Verify AD groups with owners for creation/deletion.
• 7. Handle AD account unlocking and password resets; coordinate with central AD teams.
• 8. Basic network concepts; diagnose and resolve network issues; liaise with ITSS network team for WAN problems.
• 9. VC room setup and coordination; supervise LAN switches; escalate LAN issues with vendor for distribution branches and warehouses.

Job description

1. Build Windows 1011 Desktops Laptops

2. Setup desktop laptop in the domain and configure user profile

3. Setup standard applications like MSOffice mail clients MS Outlook Lotus Notes Antivirus Security software CrowdStrike and specific business software SAP client

4. BaU Application support for the above software

5. User creation deletion transfer with ITSS team Logging requests with the ITC Service Desk for the creation modification deletion and transfer of mailboxesAD IDs

6. Verification of groups including their creation and deletion in collaboration with group owners

7. The team will handle user Active Directory account unlocking password resets and coordination with the central Active Directory and Central Local Network teams

8. Basic understanding of network concepts and devices Initial diagnosis and resolution of network-related issues Liase with ITSS network team for Wan issues

9. VC room equipment setup and coordination

10. Supervision of LAN switches and collaboration with the Network Engineer a Escalation and follow-up of LAN-related issues with the vendor to ensure prompt resolution for Distribution Operations Branches and Warehouses
