Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Desktop Support Engineer for the Sony Pictures project in Kodambakkam, Chennai.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in both Windows and Mac/macOS support and be capable of providing L1/L2 technical support to end users.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 desktop and technical support to end users.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktop/laptop hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot and provide hands-on support for Mac/macOS systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
• Resolve issues related to printers, network connectivity, email, and other IT peripherals.
• Handle incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Maintain proper documentation of incidents and resolutions.Coordinate with relevant teams for escalated issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and end-user support.

Mandatory Skills

• 3+ years of Desktop Support experience.
• Hands-on experience in both Windows and Mac/macOS support – Mandatory.
• Good knowledge of desktop hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle end-user issues effectively.
