Job summary

Team Computers is seeking a Desktop Engineer for Mumbai (Nahur) to handle installation, rollout and ongoing support of desktops and laptops. The role requires 3–6 years of relevant experience and solid hardware diagnostics ability.

Responsibilities include OS installation, software support (Office, antivirus, Outlook, browsers), network connectivity, printers and peripheral setup, plus coordination with vendors for higher-level issues.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 3–6 years of experience in desktop engineering.
• Location: Mumbai (Nahur).
• Willingness to perform installation, troubleshooting, and user support.

Responsibilities

• Installation and rollout of new desktops and laptops.
• Hardware fault diagnosis and isolation.
• OS installation and support including repair or re-installation.
• Software support for Office apps, antivirus, email clients and browsers.
• Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity and printers.
• Peripheral installation and support (printers, scanners).
• Printer troubleshooting and vendor coordination for L2/L3 and spares.

• Installation and Roll out services of new desktops & laptops.
• Good communication skills
• Hardware fault diagnosis & isolation on desktops / laptops.
• Installation and OS Support - Repair / Re-Installation or fresh Installation
• Installation and Software Support on Office Automation software, Anti-virus software, Email Client (Outlook), IE, Chrome & other Business Critical Applications
• Configure / troubleshoot network connectivity of desktops / laptops & network printers
• Installation, re-installation, configuration of peripherals e.g. printers, scanners etc.
• Troubleshooting & resolution of first level printer problems (e.g. paper jam, alignment, configuration setting, driver related problem, font related problem etc.) & vendor coordination for L2/L3 & Spares support.
