Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role in the ITES sector.
• Proficiency in installing and configuring desktop operating systems and common applications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving hardware and software incidents.
• Experience with network configurations, including printer and peripheral device management.
• Ability to support mobile device configurations and manage VOIP and video conferencing setups.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with remote teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills to maintain operational records.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure desktop operating systems, messaging clients, and applications like Adobe Acrobat and PkZIP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop incidents and manage disk and folder sharing permissions.
• Provide hands-on support for remote central teams and assist with urgent support during off-hours in emergencies.
• Manage and resolve printer and scanner issues at user workstations and support basic configurations for mobile devices.
• Assist users in accessing applications and handle printer and network configuration issues at user desktops.
• Support and configure VOIP voice devices and set up video conferencing in meeting rooms.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for operational procedures and new technology initiatives.
• Provide technical support for voice and video equipment, ensuring all systems are operational.
