Job summary

Tempsens Instruments India Limited in Udaipur, Rajasthan, seeks a highly experienced Design Manager for Pressure Vessel & Thermal Engineering. You will lead the design team and oversee calculations, design reviews, and production implementation of pressure vessels and associated thermal equipment.

The role requires 7–8+ years in mechanical design with ASME Section VIII, U-Stamp/U2A expertise and hands-on use of PV Elite and Aspen Tech tools; collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 7–8+ years of experience in design of pressure vessels and thermal equipment.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII, U-Stamp/U2A requirements.
• Experience using PV Elite and Aspen Engineering for calculations.
• Ability to lead a design team and coordinate with Production, Quality, Projects, R&D and Customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Mechanical Design & Engineering team.
• Design and review Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Thermal Equipment and Process Skids.
• Perform and review pressure vessel design calculations as per ASME Section VIII.
• Handle ASME U-Stamp / U2A requirements and pressure vessel certification.
• Use PV Elite for pressure vessel design, analysis and calculations.
• Perform/review thermal calculations, equipment sizing and thermal system design.
• Use ASPEN Tech / Aspen Engineering for process and thermal calculations/simulation.
• Prepare/review GA drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, TEMA and applicable international standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Projects, R&D and Customers.
• Drive design optimization, new product development and continuous improvement.
