Job summary

Kuhu Enterprises in India is seeking a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to drive end-to-end design for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns and reactors. You will oversee GA and fabrication drawings, BOM and ensure ASME compliance while coordinating with shop-floor teams.

The role requires leading a design team, selecting materials, performing calculations, and ensuring robust engineering solutions across projects.

Qualifications

• UG degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• PG degree in mechanical engineering is preferred.
• Experience leading mechanical design teams is essential.
• Proficiency with ASME standards and codes is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns and reactors.
• Prepare GA and fabrication drawings and BOM.
• Coordinate with shop floor and fabrication teams.
• Manage and mentor the design team.
