Job summary

Qualifications

• Contribute to continuous design optimization for cost, performance and manufacturability.

Job Title: Static and Mobile Pressure Vessel Senior Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pressure Vessel Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and analysis of both static and mobile pressure vessels. This role requires hands-on experience with PV Elite software and the ability to perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure structural integrity, safety and compliance with industry standards. The candidate should be detail-oriented, technically proficient and capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyse static (e.g., vertical/horizontal vessels, mounded, underground vessels, heat exchangers) and mobile (transportable) pressure vessels.
• Develop detailed fabrication drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) in collaboration with drafting and engineering teams.
• Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry codes, including ASME Section VIII Div 1 & 2, TEMA, API, and PED.
• Conduct stress analysis, nozzle loading evaluaons, wind and seismic assessments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including process, mechanical and structural engineers during design and review stages.
• Interface with clients, vendors and fabricators to resolve technical queries and ensure project requirements are met.
• Support documentation for engineering reports and compliance records.
• Contribute to continuous design optimization for cost, performance and manufacturability.
