Job summary

Tempsens Instruments India Limited in Udaipur, Rajasthan, seeks an experienced Design Manager for Pressure Vessel & Thermal Engineering. Lead the mechanical design team and oversee calculations, design reviews, and production implementation of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and thermal equipment.

The ideal candidate has 7–8+ years of experience, strong ASME Section VIII knowledge, PV Elite proficiency, and familiarity with ASPEN Tech tools.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering degree.
• 7–8+ years of relevant design experience, especially in pressure vessels and thermal equipment.
• Strong expertise in ASME codes, PV design, U-Stamp, and process equipment design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Mechanical Design & Engineering team.
• Design and review pressure vessels, heat exchangers, thermal equipment and process skids.
• Perform and review pressure vessel design calculations per ASME Section VIII.
• Handle ASME U-Stamp / U2A requirements and certification.
• Use PV Elite for design, analysis and calculations.
• Perform/review thermal calculations, equipment sizing and thermal system design.
• Use AspenTech for process/thermal calculations and simulations.
• Prepare/review GA drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs and docs.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, TEMA and international standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Projects, R&D and customers.
• Drive design optimization and new product development.
