Job summary

Ravita Engineering Services in Navi Mumbai is seeking a design engineer to lead detailed design for HVAC, electrical and automation systems, including EHV/HV/LV components.

The candidate should have BE/BTech in Electrical or Mechanical, 3–7 years of experience, and compulsory AutoCAD knowledge; responsibilities include piping, fire protection, SCADA/BMS integration, and system reviews.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Detailed design & engineering of HVAC systems, electrical and automation systems, including EHV/HV/LV components.
• Heat load calculations and fire protection system layout, hydrants and water balancing.
• PHE, pumping, water supply, sewage/drainage layouts and STP concepts.
• Design of ELV systems: CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA/AV; schematic and single-line diagrams.
• Ensure code compliance (NFPA, IEC) and prepare BOQ using AutoCAD and Revit/BIM.

Education: BE/ BTech in Electrical/ Mechanical

Knowledge in Autocad is compulsory.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for detailed designing & engineering of HVAC systems, Electrical & automation system, including EHV / HV / LV System, heat load calculation, Fire Alarm and Hydrant system, water & air balancing system and reviewing them
• Designing of Pumping system head & water flow calculations, Chillers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, AHU & FCU, piping & ducting system. VRV System, Package & Ductable split air-conditioning system, SCADA / BMS Control System
• PHE: Designing and layout water supply systems, sewage/drainage networks, Plumbing, Sanitary, stormwater management, and sewage treatment plants (STP)
• FF-Designing sprinkler systems, hydrant systems, fire pumps, hose reels, and gas suppression systems.
  Develop and create schematic diagrams, shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and system architecture for ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, AV).
• - Ensure system integration, code compliance (NFPA, IEC), and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), primarily using AutoCAD and Revit/BIM software.
• Responsible for the calculation of Mechanical system design & Equipment sizing, GFC drawings & technical documents review as per project requirements
• Detailed design & Engineering of Reviewing DBR, Design Concepts & Technical Specifications. Must be thorough in understanding the concepts and client requirements
• Reviewing of Detailed Design Drawings, Calculations, specifications and equipment sizing
• Reviewing the FAT/SAT and accepting the materials for Installation
• Adherence to cost and time schedules with an eye on cost optimization and savings on budgeted costs and expediting work ahead of schedule.
