Job summary

Stratos Infra Technologies seeks an experienced HVAC Designer to join our MEP fit-out team. You will design HVAC systems, prepare layouts and DX schematics, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for commercial interior projects.

Responsibilities include heat load calculations, shop drawings, and BOQ development, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE, IS codes, and client requirements. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 46 years of relevant experience in HVAC design for MEP fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is must.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems for commercial and interior fit-out projects (offices, retail, etc.).
• Prepare HVAC layouts, schematics, ducting, piping, and equipment sizing.
• Perform heat load calculations and system selection.
• Develop detailed shop drawings and BOQs.
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and architectural teams.
• Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, IS codes, and local regulations.
• Support site teams with technical clarifications and design revisions.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization where required.
