Qualifications

Role Description

The Design Architect will contribute to the conceptualization, development, and detailing of architectural projects from early design stages through construction documentation. Responsibilities include preparing design proposals, drawings, and presentations; coordinating with internal teams and external consultants; and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout all project phases. The role involves developing construction drawings, assisting in site-related coordination issues, and supporting design management activities such as schedules, deliverables, and quality reviews. The Design Architect will engage in regular client and stakeholder communication to understand requirements and present design solutions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Worli, Mumbai, requiring close collaboration with the studio team and periodic visits to project sites.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of experience
• Candidates should possess strong Architectural Design and Architecture skills, including concept development and spatial planning.
• Candidates should possess Design Management skills, with the ability to organize project deliverables, timelines, and coordination processes.
• Candidates should possess Construction Drawings skills, including experience in preparing detailed plans, sections, and elevations.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with teams, consultants, and clients.
• Candidates should have proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite).
• Candidates should hold a professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Prior experience in an architectural firm and exposure to Mumbai-based or similar urban projects will be an advantage.
