Job summary

Role Description

The Senior Design Architect will lead architectural design projects from concept development through to detailed design and coordination with project teams. Responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing drawings and presentations, reviewing construction documentation, and ensuring design intent is maintained during execution. The role involves guiding junior designers, collaborating with consultants and contractors, and participating in client meetings to present design solutions and address feedback. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India, requiring regular collaboration with studio leadership and direct engagement with ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Strong Architectural Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to lead concept and detailed design for diverse project types.
• Proficiency in Design Management, including coordinating project timelines, resources, and multidisciplinary inputs.
• Ability to produce and review high-quality Construction Drawings, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with standards.
• Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Professional degree in Architecture and relevant licensure or eligibility as required by local regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
• Proven experience in leading projects, mentoring junior team members, and delivering built work.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to sustainable and context-sensitive design.
