Job summary

Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd., seeks a tendering professional with 3-5 years in electrical projects to review specs, prepare quotes, and support pre-sales discussions. You will coordinate with sales, PMs and branch teams to ensure compliant tender submissions and smooth project kick-offs.

Educational background should be B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics, with strong grooming in project tracking and commercial

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics is mandatory.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in electrical tendering and pre-sales.
• Experience in preparing tender quotes and ensuring technical compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review project specs and BOM.
• Prepare tender quotes with technical compliance and deviation data.
• Maintain project opportunity tracker with sales team follow-ups.
• Initiate project kick-off once order is booked.
• Review purchase orders to drive commercial guardrails and scope handshake.
• Support sales/PM on project variation working and on technical pre-sales discussions.

Tendering vertical (Primary tasks):

• Project specs and BOM review
• Prepare ‘Tender’ quotes, provide Technical compliance information, including deviation data
• Maintain Project Opportunity. Tracker, including regular follow-ups with sales team
• Initiate project kick-off meeting (once order is booked)
• Ensure review of purchase orders to drive commercial guardrails and scope handshake
• Support sales / PM team on ‘Project variation working’
• Support sales on technical pre-sales discussions with clients

The incumbent will work closely with:

• Product marketing
• Customers
