Job summary

KSB is seeking a Deputy Manager in Oreder Engineering to drive project planning, documentation, and drawings for customer projects. The role requires coordinating with customers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely SAP-based releases and BOM management.

The candidate should have BE Mechanical with 8–15 years of experience in project planning and execution, familiarity with AutoCAD, UG NX, and SAP PP, and knowledge of API/VDI/DIN standards.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical degree is required.
• 8–15 years of experience in project planning & execution.
• Experience with SAP PP module is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and UG NX.

Responsibilities

• Process indents (Sales Orders) by technical order documentation.
• Convert customer requirements received through indents from TSS into customer documentation.
• Prepare and submit project drawings as required by customers/consultants through DMS.
• Prepare base frames/motor lantern drawings and other major bought-out items and release for procurement/manufacturing in SAP.
• Expedite document submission and approvals from customers/consultants and update schedules.
• Review and approve pump data sheets, performance curves, QCP and submit to clients/consultants via DMS.
• Review aggregate part lists with approved documents and drawings.
• Update documents for As-Built corrections reported by QM/Production in DMS.
• Create aggregate BOM and release in SAP on time.

Job Location: Khandala MIDC, Phase-II, Village Kesurdi, Tal.- Khandala, Dist.- Satara, Maharashtra.

Professional experience: 8 to 15 years of Experience / exposure in project planning & execution.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Process Indents (Sales Orders) by Technical Order Documentation.
• Convert Customers requirements received through Indents from TSS, into documents required by Customers.
• Prepare & Submit project drawings as required by Customer/Consultants through DMS.
• Prepare Base frames/Motor Lantern drawings & other major bought out items & the same to be released for procurement / manufacturing in SAP.
• Expedite document submission & approvals from Customer / Consultants & update document submission schedules regularly.
• Review & approval of pump data sheets, performance curves, QCP & further submission to Clients / Consultants for their approvals through DMS.
• Review aggregate part list w.r.t. approved / final documents and drawings.
• Update existing documents for "As Built" corrections reported by QM / Production in DMS.
• Create aggregate BOM & release in SAP on time .

Defined competencies:

• Knowledge of various Standards like API, VDI, ASTM HIS, DIN, etc.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Process including assembly, fabrication and testing.
• Awareness in mechanical and hydraulic design
• Exposure to Auto CAD and UG NX
• SAP (PP module) awareness is a must
