OPERATIONS ENGINEER
Operation Engineer will be reporting to Operations Manager and authorized for the following:
Responsible for/authorized to:
- a) Scheduling jobs based on job priority and customer delivery datelines.
- b) Raising purchase requisitions for purchase products for operation use.
- c) Raising Process Control Router pertinent to the specific jobs for issuance to the workshop for job executions per Customer Requirement Review Checklist (CRRC).
- d) Recommending corrective/ preventive actions as applicable to the planning/production function process to rectify problems relating to customer complaints, process related problems and product deficiencies.
- e) Reviewing & analyzing Companys key performance indicators and mapping out improvement programs for continual improvement.
- f) Participating in the management review meetings and taking pertinent follow up-actions as required.
- g) Supervising the execution of work orders in accordance with process control routers and industry standards as well as appropriate work procedures and instruction.
- h) Conducting random work-in-progress inspections at various stages of job execution to ensure workshop staffs are executing jobs properly.
- i) Insuring proper accountability of customer products sent in for repair or conversion.
- j) Ensuring proper product identification & traceability and preservation during job execution.
- k) Ensuring workshop staff executes jobs under acceptable safety practices.
- l) Raising and recommending disposition action to Operations Manager for approval of action for non conforming products/ services attributable to errant Suppliers as well as those detected during work-in-progress, final delivery and after field use.
- m) Reviewing & analyzing Companys key performance indicators and mapping out improvement programs for continual improvement.
- n) Evaluating competency of workshops to ensure their capability of doing job including after training provided.
- o) Scheduling and maintaining process equipment to minimize operational downtime.
- p) Review and marks the drawings/ sketches with the APPROVED FOR MANUFACTURE stamp and initial on it with signature and date.

- a) Ensure all manufacturing measurement are within plan or with favorable variances.
- b) Achieve zero accident record.
- c) Maintain good housekeeping at all time.
- d) Establish accurate standard time.
- e) Ensure responsiveness to enquires, on time delivery, low cost and quality products.
Trainings
- a) API Spec Q1 training.
- b) Training on API Spec 7-1, 7-2 requirements.
- c) Awareness training on ISO9001.
- d) Training on Applicable Quality Procedures, Working Instructions, forms.
- e) Training on machining Handbook.
- f) Customer Defined training (if any).
- g) Training on Quality Plan.
