Job summary

KSB is seeking a Deputy Manager/Manager in Industrial Engineering at our facility in Maharashtra. The role focuses on process planning, time estimation (time study/MOST), and lean manufacturing improvements across manual and machining operations.

The candidate will prepare routings, develop layouts, and drive cost reduction initiatives while ensuring on-time delivery and efficient plant performance. BE in mechanical/industrial is required with 12–15 years of experience.

Qualifications

• BE - Mechanical or Industrial engineering.
• 12 to 15 years of professional experience.
• Experience in process planning and time estimation.

Responsibilities

• Execute process planning and standard time calculation for manual and machining ops.
• Analyse MIS and initiate process improvement.
• Analyse orders status in APC for on-time delivery.
• Prepare process routings for new materials and aggregates.
• Develop layouts for lean manufacturing and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Perform margin/capacity calculations for plant.
• Identify waste and lead cost reductions in sub-contracting/logistics.
• Prepare standard work instructions and processes for all products.
• Select new equipment for required processes.

Professional experience: 12 to 15 Years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Execute Process Planning and standard time calculation (by time study/ estimation/ MOST) for manual and machining operations.
• Analyse MIS and initiate Process improvement.
• Analyse orders status in APC for on time delivery improvement.
• Prepare process routings for new material & aggregates as per timeline.
• Responsible for Layout development for Lean mfg. Multi-tasking and skill elimination.
• Prepare marginal analysis and capacity calculation for plant.
• Identify Waste & eliminate in existing process.
• Cost reduction program in sub-contracting and logistic service.
• Prepare Standard work instruction and process for all product.
• Responsible for selection of new equipment for required process.
