Job summary

Thompsons HR Consulting Pvt Ltd is seeking a Deputy Manager / Manager to oversee the Production department, guiding Supervisors and Operators to achieve targets with zero-line stoppage.

The role requires BE with 10 years or DME with 15 years of production experience, and involves managing CNC machines, assembly, and end-of-line testing while driving cost efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• BE with 10 years experience in Production required.
• DME with 15 years experience in Production required.

Responsibilities

• Should be capable of handling Production department Supervisors and Operators and drive them to meet the production target Zero-Line stoppage.
• Responsible for production output / daily Target numbers in CNC machine Shop and Assembly.
• Machines such as CNC Sliding Head Turning centres, Single Spindle CNC lathes, VMC and Special purpose machines.
• Special purpose Assembly and end of line testing machines.
• Plan Vs Actual Gap Analysis and arriving action Plan to address the Gap.
• Should be capable of controlling operations cost such as manpower cost, energy cost, overtime cost and consumables cost.
• Responsible for OEE , Man Machine Mapping Efficiency, First time right (FTR) and Employee Turnover.
• Lead, mentor, and upskill CNC operators, contract manpower, and trainees in various forms to build a highly adaptable, cross-trained workforce.
• Reviewing daily Rejections and control them and reducing COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality).
• Ensuring complete traceability system from Raw materials to Finished Good.
• Ensuring Safety Standards at workplace.
