Job summary

Acuity Knowledge Partners seeks a senior procurement and finance operations professional for its Private Markets division in Gurugram. The role focuses on vendor management, contract negotiation, and managing end-to-end AP processes for leading private equity funds and corporates.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and implement reporting via Power BI, Workday/SAP/Oracle integrations. 7–11 years of relevant experience and strong governance mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement and Finance Operations.
• Experience managing teams and large-scale AP operations.
• Knowledge of AP lifecycle, vendor management, controls and compliance.
• Hands-on with ERP platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle.
• Experience with reporting/dashboarding tools such as Power BI.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor relationships; negotiate contracts and licensing structures.
• Prepare monthly spend, savings, renewals reports.

Thejob role is in the Private Markets division at Acuity, one of the fastestgrowing segments within the firm. This opportunity is ideal for a private equity/investment banking / strategy consulting professional who is interested inworking with leading global private equity funds and corporations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage Market Data vendorrelationships with limited supervision; Contract negotiation, commercialstructuring, vendor relationship management (not procurement operations) andunderstand licensing structures
• Monthly reporting aroundspend, savings tracking, renewals, utilization and vendor activity
• Vendor profiling and renewalanalysis for leadership briefings
• Contract consolidation:reduce fragmented renewal dates and master agreements to a single, standardizedstructure per vendor
• Gap identification andclosure across the vendor portfolio
• Support month-end,quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities while ensuring accuracyand completeness of AP-related reporting.
• Manage internal and externalaudit requirements, ensuring timely closure of observations and continuousstrengthening of control frameworks.
• Drive strategic initiatives,process transitions, and change management programs to support business growthand operational scalability.
• Provide leadership updates and actionable insights tosenior management through data-driven analysis and performance reporting.

Additional Responsibilities
