Job summary

Acuity Analytics is seeking a Delivery Lead in Gurgaon to support a Private Markets client, focusing on fund and portfolio monitoring. You will develop financial models, analyze cash flow, and collaborate with the client as an extended team member.

Location is Gurgaon, reporting to Associate Director, with 5–6 years in related fields. Role requires strong expertise in renewable energy deal advisory, valuations, and project finance modelling, plus excellent Excel skills and client communication.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of relevant experience in renewable energy and deal advisory including valuations, project finance modelling, quantitative analysis, and other related financial modeling.
• Excellent sectoral knowledge on energy sector, especially renewable energy.

Responsibilities

• Create and update detailed financial models for clients, considering industry and project-based assumptions.
• Understand cash waterfall, debt sculpting, and NPV concepts as part of financial analysis.
• Draft NBOs, Information Memoranda (IMs) and related materials.
• Provide deep-dive analysis on renewable energy markets to generate strategic insights.
• Benchmark companies on financial and operating metrics to analyze growth and profitability.
• Prepare pitch books, capital structure analyses, tax structures, and roadshow presentations.

Job Purpose

Acuity Analytics is looking for an individual to play a key role in supporting a Private Equity client across fund & portfolio monitoring. The professional will be closely working as an extended team member for a private equity client and will assist on portfolio monitoring, financial statements, and cash flow analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Support clients with creation and updation of detailed financial models, considering industry and project based assumptions
• Good understanding of project financing concepts such as Cash waterfall, Debt sculpting, NPV would be preferred.
• Hands on experience in creation of drafts of NBOs, IMs etc.
• Deep dive analysis on renewable energy markets to bring critical strategic insights
• Benchmark companies on various financial and operating parameters, to analyze industry growth and profitability
• Prepare pitch books, capital structure analysis, tax structure analysis, profiles, and road show presentations

Key Competencies

• Post-Graduation in Finance/Energy/Power or equiv. qualification (CFA, MBA, CA or equiv.)
• 2-6 years of relevant experience in renewable energy and deal advisory including valuations, project finance modelling, quantitative analysis, and other related financial modeling etc.
• Excellent sectoral knowledge on energy sector specifically renewable energy
• Ability to handle requests and communicate with client independently on assumptions, approach, clarifications and expected output
• Possess management/leadership skills to run the research on a day-to-day basis and apply his/her insights to client ideas
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations and ensure timely delivery of reports to clients
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including macros.
