Job summary

The Wedding Company is seeking a Decor Planning Specialist to grow the Rajasthan decor business, handling vendor coordination, costings, and client requirements to deliver outstanding, on-brand wedding experiences.

Based in Jaipur with Delhi NCR as a preferred second location, you will build the category end-to-end and may specialise into vendor operations or client-facing decor sales as the business grows, guided by performance and personal strengths.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in wedding decor or related role.
• Strong decor costing and production knowledge.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

The Decor Planning Specialist will be responsible for growing The Wedding Companys decor business in Rajasthan, working across vendor coordination, commercial negotiations, decor costing, and client requirements. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the commercial and creative sides of wedding decor and wants to take ownership of building a category in a growing market. As the Rajasthan business grows, the role will have the opportunity to specialise into either vendor-side operations or client-facing decor sales and planning, based on the candidates strengths, interests, and growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage decor vendor assignments and relationships across Rajasthan
• Coordinate decor costing and negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive commercials
• Ensure decor proposals maintain the required company standards
• Work closely with client-facing teams to identify and convert decor opportunities
• Understand client requirements, budgets, and aesthetics to recommend relevant decor solutions

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 2 - 5 years of experience in wedding decor, event production, decor planning, vendor management, or a related role
• Strong understanding of wedding decor, production, and costing
• Good negotiation and commercial skills
• Strong communication and relationship-management abilities
• Comfortable working with targets and taking ownership of outcomes
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple requirements simultaneously
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to build a growing business vertical
• Experience in the Rajasthan wedding market is a strong plus

Location Jaipur preferred, with Delhi NCR as the second preference.
