Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to plan and organize event spaces, including Space Planning and Interior Design skills.
• Understanding of design principles and built environments, with exposure to Architecture and related concepts.
• Capability to interpret and work with Construction Drawings and other technical documentation.
• Experience selecting and coordinating FF&E for event decor.
• Strong visual design sense, creativity, and attention to detail in wedding and event styling.
• Effective communication and client-facing skills, including the ability to present concepts and manage feedback.
• Proven ability to work on-site with tight deadlines, flexible schedules, and multiple events simultaneously.
• Prior experience in wedding decor, event design, or hospitality design is preferred.
• Relevant education in interior design, architecture, event management, or a related field is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Wedding Decor Designer role is based in Panchkula. The Wedding Decor Designer will collaborate with clients to understand their vision, themes, and budget, and translate these into cohesive decor concepts for ceremonies, receptions, and related events. Daily tasks include developing layout plans, selecting decor elements, coordinating floral and lighting arrangements, and overseeing on-site setup and breakdown. The role involves working closely with venue staff and vendors, managing decor timelines, and ensuring all installations meet safety and quality standards. The Wedding Decor Designer will also maintain decor inventories, prepare mood boards and presentations, and support continuous improvement of ROCHE HARBOR’s event offerings.
