Job summary

Vilya Technologies in India is seeking an energetic Customer Service Associate to manage high-volume calls with suppliers and internal teams. You will handle purchase orders, verify statuses, and resolve routine issues while maintaining accurate data in the ERP system.

The role requires Tamil fluency and strong communication, with preference for experience in procurement or vendor management. You will collaborate with Finance, Warehouse, and Purchasing for timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in customer service, call center, or support role; procurement/support a plus.
• Excellent Tamil verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage high-volume inbound calls and proactive outbound follow-ups.
• Strong basic analytical and quick problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with MS Office/Excel and CRM tools.
• Languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Call Handling: Answer incoming calls from suppliers, vendors, and internal staff regarding purchase orders, delivery statuses, invoice queries, and procurement policies.
• Outbound Call Follow-ups: Make outbound calls to suppliers and vendors to confirm order status, follow up on pending deliveries, verify pricing, or update vendor details.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot basic supply chain or order delays and route complex procurement issues to the appropriate team members.
• Data & Ticket Management: Maintain logs of all inbound and outbound calls, update purchase order details in our internal portal/ERP system and track open issues until resolution.
• Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate between vendors and internal departments to ensure clear communication and timely deliveries.
