Job summary

Adecco India seeks a Control Tower Executive / Tracking Executive in Dadri to monitor shipment movement in real time, track exceptions, and ensure timely resolution to keep supply chains running smoothly.

You will work with drivers, vendors, carriers, and customers, maintain tracking logs, and support RCA/CAPA while improving delivery performance using TMS/OTM tools and data visualization. Experience in logistics operations and strong communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Track vehicles and shipments in real time using GPS, OTM, FleetX, SIM, and other tracking tools.
• Identify and elevate delays, exceptions, and operational risks promptly.
• Coordinate with drivers, vendors, carriers, and customers for updates and issue resolution.
• Maintain tracking logs, movement reports, and customer communication records.
• Ensure ETA adherence and trigger proactive alerts whenever required.
• Support RCA, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Purpose

Monitor shipment movement, track exceptions, and ensure timely resolution for uninterrupted supply chain operations.

Reporting To

Control Tower Manager / Tracking Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Track vehicles and shipments in real time using GPS, OTM, FleetX, SIM, and other tracking tools.
• Identify and elevate delays, exceptions, and operational risks promptly.
• Coordinate with drivers, vendors, carriers, and customers for updates and issue resolution.
• Maintain tracking logs, movement reports, and customer communication records.
• Ensure ETA adherence and trigger proactive alerts whenever required.
• Support RCA, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Good knowledge of TMS/OTM and shipment tracking tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• MS Excel (Formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis).

• Experience in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Operations.
