Quatro Business Support Solution in Mumbai is seeking a Transportation Specialist to handle customer service, order entry, and daily load tracking across all transportation modes. You will resolve shipment issues with carriers and ensure data matches the TMS.

The role requires meticulous data entry, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with clients and internal teams. Night shift from 10pm to 6am, permanent payroll, and opportunities to improve processes are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
• Knowledge of freight bills and freight terms.
• Hands-on experience with Freight Billing or Transportation is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter shipment information into the system for approval.
• Contact clients and preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
• Enter data from source documents into computer following the format displayed on screen and enter necessary codes.
• Validate system data for accuracy of shipments.
• Research, analyze, and identify issues and errors on shipments, coordinating with internal and external parties.
• Compare data entered with source documents or re-enter data to detect errors.
• Work on manifest or bulk upload of invoices for the Spreadsheet Upload Process.
• Follow and apply all SWIs and process documents.
• Ensure efficient, accurate, timely and thorough completion of daily, weekly and monthly deliverables across all functions of the billing process.
• Seek continuous improvement across all functions/processes and accounts.
• Assist Supervisor with prioritizing workload and update of account status.

Job Description-

As a Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for performing all functions of customer service, as well as order entry, daily tracking of loads for all modes of transportation, and freight pay resolution.

This position is responsible for resolving issues with shipments from carriers. Review errors, reports and fix them. Involves research and resolution of all issues and documents. Perform data entry or corrections of shipment information to match TMS, tracks and communicates root-cause analysis of issues to support continuous improvement. Monitor carrier performance/compliance issues. Perform data entry and track-and-trace duties

Essential Functions:

Technical Skills:

Broad range of network and desktop knowledge, including experience with Microsoft Office programs.

General Skills:

Knowledge of freight bills and freight terms; strong hold on accounts process and operational procedures.

Hands‑on experience on Freight Billing Process or Transportation is a plus.

Excellent communication skills (oral and written); communicate effectively with peers, end users, and external clients.

Excellent interpersonal skills: participate in a team environment and build strong working relationships.

Good time management skills: ability to follow and create SWI’s; multi-task and prioritize workloads; demonstrated analytical capabilities; effectively identify and resolve Problems.
