Job summary

Star Grower Group in Pune invites an experienced Labour Supervisor to oversee shop-floor manpower in the production department, ensuring smooth allocation, discipline and daily targets in an automobile manufacturing environment.

You will supervise attendance, coordinate with engineers and managers, train new workers on machine operations, enforce 1S/2S, and manage shortages without impacting production while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Labour Supervisor in manufacturing or automobile industry.
• Ability to read and write English, Hindi and Marathi.
• Experience handling 50+ workers advantageous.
• Strong leadership, coordination and people management skills.
• Residents near Chakan MIDC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and allocate manpower based on daily production requirements.
• Maintain daily attendance, overtime, and manpower records accurately.
• Recruit and arrange additional manpower when required.
• Train new workers on machine operations and shop-floor processes.
• Communicate daily production targets and monitor work quality and productivity.
• Coordinate with engineers, managers, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Ensure workers follow safety guidelines and maintain 1S and 2S standards on the shop floor.
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and proper workplace behavior among workers.
• Effectively manage manpower shortages or excess manpower without impacting production.
